Our mission at Sport Performance Coaching is to create self-reliant athletes who continuously push the boundaries of their own potential in sport and life. We achieve this through cutting-edge coaching programs and personalized support that tend to our athletes every need.
By fostering a culture of growth and self-improvement, we provide a powerful environment that builds self-confidence and mental fortitude within each of our athletes. Together we are expanding the limits of athletic performance and creating a lasting legacy in the world of sports.
our story
The birth of SPC can be traced all the way back to 2009 when Alain began coaching Patrick’s middle school volleyball team. This marked the beginning of Alain’s journey as a coach, and of Patrick’s journey into elite levels of athletic performance.
For 6 years, Alain and Patrick worked closely together in a coach-athlete dynamic, fueling each of their respective growing passions.
Patrick went on to play volleyball at a top level college.
Alain pursued coaching professionally, helping ambitious entrepreneurs with their performance and creativity.
More recently, in early 2023, Patrick was invited to join the coaching staff of a university volleyball team. In his new role of coach, he keenly observed that no adequate solutions were being offered for many of the core issues hindering the players level of performance. He also recognized that these core issues were not isolated occurrences within his team, but are actually common across the board in the world of sports.
Patrick’s insights into these systemic performance problems became the sparks that gave life to the vision that is SPC today.
Following several inspired conversations about how to bring solutions to these unaddressed problems, Alain and Patrick joined forces to create The Peak Performer Program.
The program has now become the core offer of SPC and is helping many athletes achieve self-reliance and play at their full potential.
Our philosophy
At SPC, we teach and train our athletes to become self-reliant performers.
A self-reliant performer is one who has made it a habit to continuously study and progressively integrate the 5 Enhanced Performance Fundamentals.

Developing self awareness improves our athlete’s ability to clearly observe, reflect on, and change the internal and external processes of their performance. This, in turn, leads to improved decision making ability, increased resilience and greater ability to remain calm in moments of pressure.

Perfect Practice helps our athletes improve their mind-body connection, and increase their efficiency and effectiveness of skill acquisition and development. This fundamental is applied in all aspects of performance such as mental and emotional growth, overall attitude, decision making, and technical skill development.

Our athletes see preparation as setting the stage for peak performance to take place. Properly doing so allows them to show up for their biggest events with a calmness and confidence that can only come from a full expectancy that they will be at their absolute best.

Execution is the point where the work of Self Awareness, Perfect Practice, and Preparation meet. Working with this fundamental ensures our athletes operate at peak levels during game time. Consistently doing so boosts their self-confidence, maximizes the enjoyment and fulfillment they get from playing, and ultimately carries them to accomplish their most inspiring goals and dreams.

Adaptability ensures that a high level of execution is maintained regardless of internal and external influences on one’s performance. By practicing adaptability, our athletes improve their level of execution, become more psychologically flexible, and expand their ability to remain present and grounded in the face of challenges and setbacks.
